Jude Iddison began song writing in 2000 with inspiration from the pristine beauty of the natural environment. She has performed original songs with six-piece dance band Midnight Mahina, Odd Sock and Across the Bridge at local festivals, enjoys collaborating with other musicians and has co- written songs with songwriters Craig Sinclair and Peter Usher.
Jude established the string programme at Golden Hill Steiner School and founded the Denmark Fiddlers and fiddle-driven dance group Dig’n the Jig. She is currently performing with Albany groups, The Wayward Earls and Nine Mile Hill, and studying honours in classical performance at WAAPA.
Jude enjoys working with young people and helping them develop and enhance their uniquely creative musical selves. She brings a wealth of teaching experience to her first year facilitating songwriting workshops for FolkWorld.
