Winner of a WAM Award for Folk Act of the Year in 2016, Lucy Peach is a folk singer from Fremantle, inspired by Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, her menstrual cycle and her convict ancestors.

Lucy has has released two EPs: ‘Wax and Wane’ (2011) and ‘Silver Tongue’ (2016) and is mid way through recording her debut album ‘Blood Magic’. Performing with an award-winning band (Tara John – keys and vocals, Luke Dux – guitar, John Brown – bass and Daniel Harrison – drums), as a duo or playing solo with a 1950’s 4 string tenor guitar – Lucy’s songwriting and live presence have won the approval of fellow musicians and industry alike. Sharing stages in Australia and overseas with the eclectic likes of Tim Finn, The Waifs, Mama Kin, The Cat Empire, Boy and Bear, Xavier Rudd and All Our Exes Live in Texas confirms this local darling as a world class act to be reckoned with. This is Lucy’s fourth year facilitating youth songwriting workshops for FolkWorld. She is happy for the opportunity to again inspire a new generation of budding musicians in 2021.
